“I’ve got this!”
This is what you want to hear from the speaker you hire for your event.
But more than that, you want your people to look at the challenges in their lives with a new attitude and say “I’ve got this!”
As with any skill or profession, the longer you do it, the better you get. I have been speaking professionally for a long, long time and I’m confident in my abilities.
I pride myself in getting to know your group before the conference so that I can relate to them and their specific challenges as much as possible:
- What makes them tick.
- What stresses them.
- What keeps them up at night.
I’m guessing you are here because you are looking for a speaker to help make your event memorable. What I can offer is just that. I’ve spent years as a professional standup comedian and keynote speaker. How does this help you? I know how to make sure an audience gets:
- Funny, clean relatable humor.
- Real-life, workable solutions to the things they struggle with in their work and their lives.
- An experience they’ll never forget!
I spent a lot of years doing everything wrong and I simply had to discover how to make friends with my stress. With a degree in Health and Physical Education, I knew what to do, but struggled to implement it in my own life. I was like the shoemaker’s wife who has no shoes! So, I love to share what I’ve learned through my research, education and personal experience. And, of course it’s all delivered with lots of laughs! Humor really does help the medicine go down!
I spent many years as a professional standup comedian, including living and performing in New York City. I came to see the value of humor for our overall well-being and how therapeutic it is. Plus, it just feels good to laugh! So, I want people to leave my presentations feeling good. But, I also want them to have valuable tools to continue this good feeling into their lives; not only humor, but optimism and other “feel-good” emotions that are the key to success in life.
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”
– Helen Keller
Sometimes, people are looking for a great speaker who will kick off the conference with a bang or leave them energized and motivated at the end. I have done it hundreds of times for thousands of people. I can even do the after-lunch slot when the afternoon “sleepies” are starting to set in! Many speakers shy away from after-dinner speaking. Not me. I say:
I’ve got this!
I am still on the path of life like everyone else. But, I have learned a lot about being successful at the business of life. So, give me a call, drop me an email or fill out the form on this website and let me help you take this item off of your conference “to do” list.
